Diego Sunglasses Collection

The Diego sunglasses channel the bold legacy of the 1960s Safety Series – a movement where form followed function and the result was iconic. These were the frames worn on factory floors and in science labs, but they didn’t stay there. The Wayfarer and Clubmaster? They came from this world. So did Diego.

The journey took us to Naples, where the streets don’t give anything away easy. We’d already chosen the name – a nod to the king of the city, Maradona. Then, in a shop filled with random treasures and run by the famously grumpy Paulo, we found the original frame that would shape Diego.

We’ve reworked its strong, structured brow into a crowned top, softening the silhouette by dropping the lugs. Built from Mazzucchelli acetate and fitted with organic plastic lenses offering full UV protection, Diego is a pair of Panto sunglasses that blend vintage grit with modern elegance.
